About Ops Excellence

Ops Excellence brings together the structured problem-solving methods used by Black Belt practitioners — Thought Maps, Process Maps, MSE, Components of Variance, and Design of Experiments — into a single, AI-guided workspace.

What we believe

Most engineering problems are not solved by a single brilliant insight. They are solved by a disciplined sequence: ask the right questions, map the process, validate the measurement system, decompose variation, then run experiments. Ops Excellence makes that sequence the default workflow rather than an aspiration.

The methodology

  1. Thought Map — capture every theory and question about the problem; link each one to evidence as it accrues.
  2. Process Map — make the inputs, outputs, and noise factors visible before you measure anything.
  3. Measurement System Evaluation — confirm the gauge can see what you need to see (Gage R&R, X̄/R, Individuals/MR).
  4. Components of Variance — find out where variation actually lives using nested sampling and the Sanders R̄/d₂ method.
  5. Design of Experiments — change factors deliberately, with full ANOVA, residual diagnostics, and Bayesian optimisation.

The platform

Each tool runs in the browser with a Python statistical engine on the back end (statsmodels, scipy, pyDOE2). A multi-agent AI assistant — built on LangGraph with specialist agents per tool — guides users, interprets results, and flags missing analysis steps. Projects are cloud-hosted and shareable with collaborators.

Who we serve

R&D engineers, manufacturing engineers, process engineers, quality teams, and Green/Black Belt practitioners working on data-driven improvement projects.
